Resveratrol may build resistance against stroke

Researchers at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine have discovered that taking the miracle anti-aging product Resveratrol may help the brain build up a resistance against the effects of a stroke.

Two groups of mice were giving artificially stimulated strokes.  The group of mice that had received small amounts of resveratrol received significantly less brain damage than did those mice who did not receive the supplement.

According to one of the professors behind the study, the results indicate that resveratrol may help boost the brain’s defences against the impact of a stroke.
